Had the opportunity to do these two posters for a band that I just love.
The last two posters on my plate before baby reno decides to come out and meet us (due date of Oct 15th).
While I may not be busy making posters during the month of October, I hope to have even the smallest amount of time to post stuff here and get the site ready for its redesign and reintroduction. oh my.

5 commentsMy Morning Jacket Poster
Alright, so the Come On Down openings are over, so it’s back to business.
One of the cool things that happened last year that went untold thanks to my website silence was the story of the My Morning Jacket poster. I created one for the band’s stop at House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio. A few weeks later I get a call from HoB saying that the band loved the poster and may be contacting me- pretty cool I thought, but I would believe it when it happened.
Sure enough someone from MMJ’s team emails asking if they can use the design from the poster on a commemorative shirt for their New Year’s Eve shows in San Francisco. Naturally, I obliged. So they took the art, adjusted some things and printed up a shirt.
You can buy one HERE
And if it’s the poster you want, you can buy that below as well.
this post also marks the introduction of a new tag, visible to the right under “tags”- FOR SALE- I’ll be sure to tag anything and everything- posters, shirts, art prints, etc. as this so that it can all be located in one easy to find section. this all until the eventual creation of the galaxyreno web store.

20.00 plus shipping costs- and tax if you’re an Ohio resident.

changes- what has happened and what is to come.
Well I hadn’t updated my site in almost a year and it was starting to get to me…it was very upsetting to say the least.
The old site was all flash, and I loved it (a huge thanks to the grandmaster) but I was unable to update it easily, hence the months without updates. So I decided while a new site was being built (an indeterminable amount of time) I’d throw up posters as they happen, shirts, news about upcoming shows and so on. A giant giant thanks to friend and internet mogul Robert Duffy for making this happen. He’s a gem.
One great thing we added was a mailing list/newsletter. It’s over there somewhere———->
Once I get my bearings with this all I’ll start a semi regular newsletter (monthly would surprise me, but you never know). Naturally your emails are safe and would never be used for evil…only for Reno.
We’re also working on setting up a galaxyreno shop where you can buy almost anything and everything you see here.
And, as always, there are some very exciting things in progress. You’ll learn about them here for sure! In the meantime, check out the Polyphonic Spree poster for their stop this past weekend in Cleveland-

Hello again, hello
welcome to galaxyreno.com version 1.5.
It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted last, and many many things are going on and have gone on since then, and we’ll get to that all eventually.
In the meantime, I wanted to celebrate version 1.5 with a little promised ebay action.
The Twilight Singers poster has been my most requested poster- fastest selling too- and I didn’t print that many unfortunately.
I’ve had many people ask if any are available, and instead of arbitrarily choosing from that list of folks, I thought I’d through the last remaining one up on ebay and let the person that was most serious about its purchase be the one that walked away with it.
And it’s already framed too! Museum quality glass (blocks UV) archival matte, black metal frame- all professionally done.
It will go up on ebay on Sunday July 8 2007 and will be up for one week.
Alright! more soon.
